1. Initial Cleaning The paddy first enters the equipment equipped with a cylinder initial cleaning sieve and a vibrating sifter. The cylinder initial cleaning sieve removes large impurities from the paddy, such as straws and stones. Subsequently, the vibrating sifter further screens out smaller impurities and dust, ensuring that the paddy entering the subsequent processes is relatively clean. |
2. Stone Removal After the initial cleaning, the paddy proceeds to the destoner. The destoner separates the stones mixed in the paddy by leveraging the difference in specific gravity between paddy and stones. This prevents the stones from damaging the subsequent equipment and improves the purity of the paddy. |
3. Husking The paddy, now free of stones, enters the paddy husker. The husker, equipped with rubber rollers or similar devices, removes the outer husk of the paddy, transforming it into brown rice. |
4. Paddy - Brown Rice Separation The mixture after husking is fed into the paddy - brown rice separator. This equipment differentiates between un - husked paddy and brown rice based on differences in particle size, specific gravity, and friction coefficient. The un - husked paddy is sent back to the husker for re - husking to increase the husking rate. |

9. Color Sorting The graded white rice is then fed into the rice color sorter. The color sorter uses optical principles to pick out discolored grains (such as yellow grains and diseased grains) from the white rice, improving the appearance quality and purity of the white rice. |
10. Polishing The color - sorted white rice enters the rice polisher. The polisher removes the bran powder on the surface of the white rice, making the surface smoother and more lustrous. This also enhances the taste and storage performance of the white rice. |
