The Grain Dryer Tower with PLC control is an automated, low-temperature drying system seamlessly integrated with silos. It efficiently dries a variety of grains, including maize (corn), paddy (rice), wheat, millet, sorghum, and soybeans, ensuring optimal moisture control and preserving grain quality.
Counterflow Drying Technology
Hot air at 80-120°C flows counter to the grain movement, significantly improving drying efficiency.
The drying process consists of five stages: preheating, rapid drying, slow tempering, balanced dehumidification, and forced cooling.
Operational Workflow
Loading: Wet grain is fed into the top hopper.
Thermal Exchange: 120°C hot air is injected through angled vents, with an optimized airflow of 6-8 m³/(h·T).
Tempering Zone: Grain rests for 30-45 minutes to achieve moisture equilibrium.
Cooling System: Ambient air circulates to cool grain temperature to ≤25°C.
Discharge: Fully dried grain is discharged via an auger conveyor.
