A grain dryer is an ideal machine for drying various grains such as corn, rice, wheat, soybeans, etc. This grain dryer belongs to an intermittent cycle dryer with low temperature and energy saving. It has a reasonable structure, convenient operation, low noise, optional heating method, and is commonly used for commercial purposes.

 

The dryer uses hot air as the heating medium to dry the grain.
Its interior is mainly composed of an air intake ventilation joint and an angular ventilation box. The corner box is filled with grain, and the grain moves from top to bottom.
The hot air enters through the air intake ventilation section and passes downward through the grain layer. The exhaust gas is discharged through the exhaust corner box. The flow direction of the hot air is the same as the direction of the grain flow, which is called mixed flow.
When the hot air passes through the grain layer, it transfers heat and moisture with the grain: the hot air transfers heat to the grain to increase its temperature. When the grain is heated, the moisture evaporates into the air and becomes exhaust gas.
The dried hot grain moves to the slow supply section, after which the temperature and moisture of the inner and outer layers of the grain tend to balance to achieve uniform precipitation.
After the grain slows down, it enters the cooling section. After cooling, the grain is cooled to the storage temperature and then discharged from the grain unloading section.
